Claret Mendez

Hi, I’m Claret, a bilingual nutritionist and coach with over a decade of experience helping people fuel their bodies with intention and train with purpose.

Originally from Mexico and now based in the U.S., I work with both athletes and active individuals, as well as those navigating health challenges like diabetes, digestive issues, high blood pressure, or inflammation.

I bring together clinical nutrition, sports performance and behavior change to offer fully personalized guidance,  backed by science, and free from diet culture or extremes.

Before becoming a coach, I was an international gymnast for 15 years. Today, I continue to train and compete in CrossFit. So yes, I get the mindset, the pressure, and the recovery struggles, because I’ve lived them.

  • I’m obsessed with potato chips + lime + Valentina. My all-time favorite snack.

  • I don’t like broccoli. At all. Not even roasted.

  • My morning ritual? Coffee with a splash of milk and vanilla, always.

  • I love hiking, camping, and being outdoors with my dog Mika 

  • I tore my ACL and meniscus (left knee) and now have a meniscus graft from a donor, years of rehab later, I’m back doing what I love: lifting, training, and living fully.

  • Rainy days and night drives are my comfort zone.
